
Nancy MacRae has nearly 25 years in non-for-profit management, most recently as Vice President at the American Medical Association.
Nancy worked for 20 years advancing patient and physician issues at the American Medical Association. She was a member of the AMA management team for 15 years, and as VP, Advocacy Operations Nancy was responsible for operational management of the AMA's Advocacy Group and its 100 employees, including its prestigious DC-based lobbying units, health policy, state legislative and private sector units, and managing the group's $25M budget.
Key responsibilities included managing her group's strategic planning, communication and membership function in coordination with AMA's senior management team.
Prior to her work in the Advocacy Group she led the AMA's Medical Student Section, and worked in the social services industry.
Nancy has her Master's degree in Health Services Administration, and has been an active volunteer in several community-based organizations.
